We can start making reservations now. You will have to call the campground to make a reservation. Please make your reservations ASAP because this campground fills up quick, just like Topsail. Tell them you are with the Southeastern Camper's Summer Rally and post on this thread your site number so we can keep a running list of the reservations.

The campground has set aside 10 site's for us and will set aside more if we need them. The site's are premium pull-thru with full hookups.

They have cabins available if you don't want to bring your camper or you have friends who does not have a camper.

You can either call the campground or go online to make reservations. If you call the campground they will not charge anything to your credit card until you arrive.

There is a 2 day cancellation policy, meaning you have to cancel you reservations at least 2 days before arrival if for some reason you can not make it to the rally.

If you plan on visiting the cave or riding the go-carts you can order tickets online and save some money.

Hi Everyone

We had a few folks that could not make it to Cane Creek last month, so we decided to have another DOG on the west side for them.

If you would be interested in meeting at Kings Mountain State Park in South Carolina. I'll rent a pavilion for day. We will do it on 10/09/10. The weather should be better by then, hopefully not so hot.

If you want to camp or just join us for the day, I look forward to hearing from you.

We could meet, do lunch and dinner along with some hiking and maybe a campfire.

We are off, once again, to Claytor Lake SP near Dublin, VA. Claytor Lake SP Through most of August, I relentlessly pinged ReserveAmerica, hoping to catch a cancellation for Labor Day weekend at one of the nearby state parks, and also First Landing SP over at the coast. Last week I finally snagged an opening at Claytor Lake. Most of the parks were booked for Labor Day many months ago, so it takes a little perseverance (and unlimited computer access at work) to do this. Now given the current weather situation at the coast, I'm glad I didn't catch a cancellation at First Landing. And speaking of Hurricane Earl, it is not without it's effect on us. Rebecca is chickening-out riding the storm out in Norfolk, and is headed to our house, even as I type. (She had to evacuate Pasacgoula back when Katrina hit, so she must attract hurricanes.) So she and Logan will be joining us on this trip. (Taylor is already here, going to school. Norfolk schools suck.) Her DH will be staying behind to batten down the hatches on his ship, which is stuck in port for repairs/maintenance, and can't sortie to open waters like most of the others are going to do. That ship, as well as the others in it's class, have been plagued with problems ever since commissioning. Gilligan must moonlight at Northrop-Grumman.

Before I get too old. I know that I wouldn't be able to go to this place w/o going on the zip line (which isn't cheap at $65 & $85+ per person) but I wanna go here some time - Banning Mills: Wheeeeeeee

Does anyone have any recommendations on a campground near Vienna Georgia? We are planning on attending the Big Pig Jig November 5-6th. Their website lists some campsites near there but in checking reviews of those campsites they rate them very poorly.

Ok guys need help again
Hot water heater got so hot it would take skin off, Not the safety replaced and still same problem. Must be t stat anyone ever replace one of these or could it be something else?
