Margaret and I had not been camping for about two months so we decided to pull down to Meaher State Park in Mobile, AL for a week to attend the Mardi Gras. Jambalaya and family joined us for the fun and enjoyment. This is the most fun we have had for a while. It was a great trip. I have posted some pictures of our trip in my albums. Check them out. Here is a link to the pictures. Mardi Gras in Mobile

Looks like a lot more fun than downtown N.O.
Also, don't have to duck bullets!

That is a fact Dave. We went to parades both during the day, at night, and in different cities including Mobile and everywhere we went the crowd was having a great time parting together. It was not just adults but families having a good time. Mobile is known as the Mardi Gras for the family. There is a parting crowd that parties during the week and Sunday and Fat Tuesday is for the family and they make a lot of the streets non-drinking so the kids can have fun also. Now that is what I call "Mardi Gras".

Glad you had a great time, wish we could do it sometimes. Looks like the cereal companies funded a bunch of the floats. Great photos.

We did have a fun time at Mardi Gras, didn't we?!
Oh....and by the way.....I took the liberty of doing a couple of mods on your trailer while you were camping. And also I cleaned and adjusted your Kuhneutson Valve on your TV. Plus, I repacked your Muffler Bearings with Relative Bearing Grease. Let me know how it works out.
