We are going to Tugaloo on Lake Hartwell this weekend and it has turned out to be a nice little gathering. My parents, brother & sis-in-law are stayin in a cottage. Nickerie & co are campin with us and now even the O'Shields got a cottage at the last minute. Sounds like a party. Drinkin does not make me fat, drinkin does not make me fat . . . oh well. More to luv

We will be going to one of the SE largest flea markets called The Jockey Lot in Anderson, SC. I understand that they have Everything! Can't wait. http://jockeylot.com/ Will give a report after . . . (if I'm able)

Too late = no spots left so instead of camping, they're going to spend the big bucks for a cottage <ouch>

I am proud to report that the Jockey Lot hasn't changed a bit since I was there last. Well, I think the woman got a few more tattoos but there were lots and lots of interesting items for sale. My favorite was the Farm Tractor but I think Lamar was lusting after a Live Pig. My intestinal tract has yet to absorb all the grease in the Lunch but it was still a lot of fun.

Our son, he was at last years summer rally, that lives in Dallas bought a pig at a flea market for a pet once but he had to get rid of it when it got to big to handle. He would take the pig for a walk in downtown Dallas like you would walk a dog. He got a lot of comments with it. Only my son would do something like that.

Just the flea market alone makes me want to go camping with you!!!! We're gonna stay in Lancaster, PA when the kids get out of school and there is a giant one there called the Green Dragon. Hit a yard sale or two on the way home and I'll swear I went to Heaven! So excited!!

I bought some tools while I was there. That is usually what I buy when I go to the Jockey Lot. I purchased rubber mallets from two separate vendors. I spent a grand total of six dollars. I was at Home Depot yesterday and found them both for sale. If I bought both from "Big Orange" it would have run me $32 and change. I love a bargain.
