It's been raining now for about 3 weeks. Almost every day. Sometimes late afternoon showers, sometimes real toad stranglers!!
Today it started raining right after church. Since this pretty much put the cabash on any outside activities, Sherry decided to clean the camper. We are going to St. Augustine in early July.
While in the camper she discovered we have a leak! It appears to be coming from three areas...the rear seam, the front seam and the antennae.
I'll try to pick up some Dicor tomorrow and IF the weather cooperates, I'll get on the roof and take care of it. Meantime, I'll get a dehumidifier from the shop and start drying out the inside. Right now the damage is minimal, so I am thankful we found it early!

I think the #1 killer of Trailers is water. Water will eventually get into the structure and start the process of returning it to the earth. As owners our mission is to keep the water out. It is a never ending battle.

I've got to do some caulk work on top of my camper after the rally. I noticed the other day it is starting to crack. Did a temporary fix for now.

I agree Nick. Water is the universal solvent. Given enough time, it will break down or wear down anything.

You can walk the roof provided you:
1. Wear soft, grippy shoes, without marking soles.
2. Walk only at the edges or on the bows.
3. If you have to work in an area some people use a small sheet of plywood to dissipate the weight.
4. Be concious of all the things sticking up.
This is my two cents. Your cards and letter are welcomed.

After a suggestion from Bob (rubrhammer), I checked with my roofer's supplier. As luck would have it, they carry white Enterabond tape and I bought a roll ($65.00).
Tomorrow I have to make a quick trip to St. Petersburg so this repair will have to wait until Sunday.
I'll take pics of the repair and post here later.
