Here is another mod I did. I was tired of removing the plug to drain the heater. It dumped water all over me and the burner of the heater. I did a little mod by using a brass 1/2" nipple and a 1/2" ball valve to fix the problem. I had to a little mod to the handle. You also have to remove and replace the burner, but that is only 3 screws.

I then screw on a short length of 1/2" PVC pipe I threaded when I drain, I get all the water away from me and the camper.

I like that. Tired of getting water everywhere but on the ground. Looks like your Low Points drain caps are laying in there also.

I would love to do this mod. However, my plug has an anode attached to it instead of just a drain plug. Nice job!
