Need to replace bearings on my camper and want to do it myself to save as much money as possible. Can anyone tell me how difficult this is and are there any problems to look out for. Its on a 79 airstream if that makes any difference.

Check out these two sites. They should help. Also when you buy the new bearings talk to the parts man and he can give you some tips and what type of tools you may need and other info you might need.

The "bearings" are not hard to do, but if you are doing bearings and races it's much more difficult. the races can be very hard to to remove and replace. It's my opinion races should be replace with new bearings. For the races a press and some special tools make the job a lot easier.
