We are tentatively planning on going to West Point Lake next year for the weekend of April 23-25 - hoping the fish are still biting. Please join us if you are interested.

p.s. There was some talk about other weekends for a rally i.e., Memorial, etc. Post it and see if we can get some groups gathered :meeting:

Ruh Ro! I think we may have a problem going to this CG on West Point:
Alerts and Important Information
Due to repaving under the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act at Amity, Holiday and R. Shaefer Heard Campgrounds, reservations are not being taken during the period 12 March 2010 thru 30 April 2010; however, some walk-in campsites may be available at these campgrounds during this period.
Has anyone ever been to Lake Weiss in AL? I hear that there is some great crappie fishing there.

I know they are suppose to be working at Amity while they are closed over the winter, not sure about Holiday. The people working with us right now (at White Oak) are going to Holiday CG in the spring (Mar) and I know one of the couples going to Holiday....I'll see what they know about the renovations up there. Don't know anything about Lake Weiss.
