Believe it or not, I think I lost a little weight this time. My pants are a little loser, but the food was outstanding. Great ribs Glenn and great desert Lester.

I hope I would not have turned around to look for it if you had been able to reach me..probably wouldn't have found it anyway. The only reason I see for the cover is sun protection, but guess that's a good reason. BTW, Lemur should have my cell from when I called him Wed and he called me back....add me to your contacts Lemur.
I'm just glad the cover didn't cause an accident or land on Tony's windshield...yikes !!

I'm making my grocery list for this week's trek into deep woods dry camping and need the recipe for your Mountain Man breakfast. It looked good, so I want to give it a try.

I am settled in here at Racoon Mountain. Got here around 4:30. I will get some photos of the sites we will have at the fall rally and post some of the photos of the rally a little later on tonite. It is CHILLY here. I looked goofy getting out to register in a beach shirt and shorts.

Raccoon Mountain is a pretty neat place. Go up to the cave entrence and check out the gift shop. Steven and I did the tour and spent the night in the cave. Very neat. What site are you in?

I am in 132. I am going to take the cave tour tomorrow. But going to stay nice and warm in the Outback at night.
By the way, do you know why they are staking off the field below the new 160's sites?

Good pictures Glenn. Like the video of Lamar making Mountain Man Breakfast. You will have to make a video of Billy cooking at the fall rally in Oct. Billy is our official chef and you will get a kick out of him.
Oh, and Lamar's Peach Cobbler is a stable at each rally. It is always good.

I-40 IS NOW OPEN
We saw the info sign when we got onto I-26 coming home last night. In less than 24 hrs, a truck of lumber overturned and shut it down again...but it was cleared in a few hours and now the link from NC to TN is wide open.
Yeah !!
Now back to your regular scheduled program.

And you can not have good peach cobbler without homemade ice cream.

Life is good.
