I have it from a reliable source that Santa is bringing our Outback a porcelain toilet for Christmas! My DW hates the plastic toilet. Does anyone have any advice for Santa as to which toilet to buy? I’m thinking that Santa can’t go wrong with a Thetford, but which model? I’ve done some searching, but haven’t been able to find instructions for toilet replacement in a TT. Does anyone have experience that they can share? Santa will be at CW this weekend to pick one up!

Are you talking about the seat. The toilet on our outback is porcelain. Just the seat was the cheesy plastic.

Ours is also porcelain now but our previous one was plastic - and I don't blame you for wanting a real one.

On our 2005 Outback, the commode is all plastic and it stains easily. Smooth Porcelain doesn't staain easily. Besides, I want the taller commode so it doesn't stress my knees so much.

He also brought me a Barker electric tongue jack and a torque wrench so I can torque lug nuts to the proper value. He sure was good to me!

Thanks Leon! Hope Santa was good to you, too! Now, I just need to go camping and use my new gifts! I have a trip planned for February 3rd to Titusville, Fl. The Shuttle is schedule to launch on the 4th, so we are hoping to see one of the last launches. Can't wait to camp again!
