Oh yeah, I got site #4. It is 52' long so it will hold the Nimitz. Looking forward to it already.

We have site #5. I hope the Nimitz doesn't blot out the sun while we are there.

So, Leon. Do you plan to attack the Jockey Lot with us on this trip?

Hi guys,
Has anyone camped in this loop before ? I camped in site 51 three yrs ago and it was absolutely the hardest site to get into due to trees in the way. It was VERY unlevel also. I can't recall if I rode over to this loop or not, but was jus' wonderin' if you'd been there before.

I haven't Brent. I hope this loop is not like the loop you were in. I need all the room I can get with the Nimitz. :pullhair:

The park office said that this loop has less trees and the sites are closer together but we figured since we all know each other, it would be fine for a couple of days. They mentioned that one of the loops (I think this one) is being renovated to level up sites and fix up the bathroom. Heck, at this point it's one of the few CG's that has sites available for Memorial weekend so we beggars can't be choosey. We'll make the best of it - as we always do. We be out and about gala-vanting to see the Jockey Lot and hopefully the Hot Air Balloon festival a lot of the time any-who.

It will be just like every other get together. The first person gets themselves parked and then helps the next, who then joins together to help the next. Pretty soon the people back in are surrounded by SECampers shouting conflicting advice while sipping from thinly disguised cans of whatever :friends: :friends: Somehow, we always make it work. Just in case, Tommy you need to bring your chainsaw. Not only will we make it easier to back in but we will be entirely in keeping with their "Please Don't Bring In Outside Firewood" policy!
