It took about 4 and 1/2 hours to get home. Man what a trip. We ran into the southbound wreck so we looped around it through Hartwell. Got a call from Gwoz that the traffic had broken free so I jumped back on but for the rest of the afternoon it was 35 to 75 mph, sometimes less but never for any reason I could detect. I made it around Atlanta fine, in fact 285 was a breeze but once I headed up I-75 a wreck happened in front of us (minivan rear-ended a car and it hit a truck)so we had to work our way around that. The rain never was as bad traveling as it was packing so that was a good thing.
I can testify that the people were what made this a nice trip. The facilities were fine. The bath house was clean and close by. The water pressure throughout the park was poor and there was almost no pressure at the dump station. Oh, speaking of the dump station, you had plenty of time to ponder what kind of idiot installs 37 trailer-ready campsites and only one dump station? It was tight, as was evidenced by the very impressive scars on the trees where people had whacked them with their trailers and tow vehicles.

Enjoyed seeing everyone again and meeting new folks. Took forever to pack up with the heavy rain.
Looking forward to seeing everyone in October at the Fall rally.

We had a great time except for the horrible smell. Every time we go we meet very nice people.
By the way, I posted the recipe to the Corn Casserole in the Recipe Box.

Nick, if everyone in your loop had low water pressure...never mind, but I checked mine to see if I needed to use my regulator and it was 80 psi at my site...in loop 2, so I used the regulator. I was just thinking that maybe your regulator had gone bad...if you were using one...the one on my house went out last yr.
I noticed that folks using the dump station from loop 1 would have to do a 180 turn to get into the dump station, but loops 2 & 3 come in from the opposite direction and have it easier. I am planning to do an overnight at the Kentucky Horse Park CG in Lexington in a few weeks....260 sites, all 50 ft back ins, no sewer hookups and only TWO dump stations...but I won't be dumping after only one night.
