Hope everyone has a great time!!! We really hate we can't make this one; it's what we look forward to all year. Enjoy the food, the friends, the scenery, and definitely enjoy the funny colored drinks!

We need to delete Jambalaya from the list. They will be unable to make it this year and had to cancel.

Unfortunately, Leper - I mean Lester & fam are also having to cancel. Leroy - I mean Leon is on the road so one of the other moderators will have to adjust

Lester and Billy are scared! That's all there is to it. That's why they canceled! We scheduled a cookoff for this rally and they must have heard about my blackened fish. That's it, they're scared! :mrcool: :D :roflao:

We are here. Got in about 4:00 this afternoon. Glad to be here. Now we can relax for a week. If anyone wants to change sites to get closer to the group, just ask when you check in if you can change sites. Site's 141, 143, and 144 are now open.

We are all ok here at Raccoon Mountain. I think all the bad weather stayed north of us. All we got was some rain. They say the rest of the week is going to be great. The ones up here so far are me and Margaret, Outbackaroos, Slingshot, ee4308, and Swanny. The rest of you please have a safe trip up or down which ever it may be and we will see you all when you get here.

I tried to change my site from 17 to one of the 140's that are open but was told by Bob (office (423-821-9403 ex 2) that no one has cancelled and they're not open. Said he's had several phone calls for changes but can't help if sites are not open. I asked about site 141 and he gave me last name which was OutbackMac's. Office doesn't appear to be helpful in making changes.

We leave tomorrow afternoon and look forward to seeing everyone.

Site #141 was Tony and Dana's site and I know they are not coming. Site #143 was Billy's site but they put Jerry and Denise there. Jerry's original site number was 136. Site # 144 was Lester's site and I know he is not coming. When you get here to check in, you can ask them to move you to one of these sites, 141, 144, or 136. We will come to the office and help you get this worked out. You most likely was talking to the one we are calling "Mr Personality", there is a lot to be said about this dude. Just holler when you get here and we will get it worked out. I will go down to the office and see if I can talk any sense into "Mr Personality".

Ahh, as usual Leon thanks for going out of your way to help out. You are Da Man! If no one can move closer then I'll try for 141. Ummm, it's within stumbling distance of some sites. :friends:

Dulce is traveling this week on business (Texas Mon-Wed) or I'd be there already. We're only hour and 20 minutes away. Nearest White Castle is south of Nashville about hour+ away. So close yet so far, it's a Jersey thing.

I thought you were in 165, Tony? Is there anything wrong with 165 and 166? Do I need to try and change when I get there? What do you guys that are there already think? We'll be there sometime tomorrow afternoon. Yipee! :ibbanana:

Who needs white castle? The corporate headquarters for Krystal is in Chattanooga and they are WAY better.

We are heading up tomorrow morning. Right now we have two sick kids so we are watching developments carefully. They might have actually picked this up from Mom and Dad earlier this week so hopefully we have an immunity of sorts. I wouldn't suggest kissing any Robinsons on the lips just now but that should clear up in a day or two and you can resume normal activities then. I notice that just the thought of camping with our friends can occasionally make us sick with anticipation. Of course, it could also be the habits and hygiene of typical school-aged students as well.

Clayton & Cameron are on their way, and should be there soon. Austin had a school trip this week, and won't get back till tomorrow, so he & I will see everyone friday. Have a fire going, and a drink ready. :boogie: They say it's gonna be cold :nature-smiley-12:
