nick just stayed here this weekend.
he said he will post pictures soon for us....
he said that a wal-mart is only 1 -1/2 miles from the campground.

so i guess we will never see nick that weekend.

the site are gravel, with very litttle shade. but in october who cares?
i was told they had a great time in the cave too..

they have a large grass area that we can set the tents up for the pot luck.
cant wait, lamar

I changed my reservation to site #161. I moved there so we can be next to the big open field and we can provide electricity to our get-together.
ZoomZoom is reserved for site 162.
Gwozdzyk is reserved for site 163.
Jambalya is now reserved for site 143.

A good time will be had by all...

We are booked for the Fall Rally. Better news than that, we are right next to Billy. I guess I will find out just how much cooking he does.

Just changed my reservation to come in a day earlier after looking at the distance to Chattanooga. We'll be there from Wed-Sun.

Anyone else coming in Wed or earlier ?

Just took the cave tour at Racoon Mountain. Met one the owners of the campground, Steve. Very nice folks and atmosphere here. Checked up and all the reserved sites we have are close together. Also, you just do about a 100 yard walk to the cave entrance from the campground.

There are 5 or six different tours from easy to 6 hours of crawling on your belly and jumping 30 ft deep crevases. Plus they have overnight camping in the cave.

Here is a link to the cave website:

http://www.wildcave.com

We may want to see if any of the group wants to spend the night in the cave one night. They said on weekdays, it is not so crowded, but on weekends there could be over 100 in the cave at night.

We are also booked, but Tony has to call the campground to find out what site we have.

Brent, we are coming in early but I don't remember what day, but I do know it is Wed or earlier. I am thinking Monday. Jambalaya, Lester, and maybe a few more will be coming in early also.

Thanks for the update Glenn. We might have a few sleep in the cave if they get in the dog house.Posted Image

By the way, the map on the website does not show the 160's, but they are between the 140's and the racetrack. 166 is by the main road down to 161 that is back where the fitness room is. The 160s point in the direction the 130's do.

Here is a map I updated of the new sites. The map is not to scale, and the field between the Racetrack and the new sites is a large one.

I know the map is too big, but wanted to save the detail.

And yes, the numbering sequence is backwards from all the rest in the 160's. I have no idea why.

Hello all.
We will be joining you on this trip. We are coming in on the 28th and heading out Sunday. I've heard that an Outbacker rally is a good time.......

We plan to be there also. Site 138. If anyone is interested Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park is not to far away. They claim the largest wood roller coaster left in the country.
At least Jerry has so many targets before he gets to us... funny how I still don't find much comfort in that.
