Yeah! A visit from our wandering campers from the wilds of West Virginny!

Bob, you can camp next to me anytime but if I hear banjo music I'm getting nervous.

Nick, you're behind the times. We slipped over the fence, and made good our escape from West Virginia.
We're back in civilization again. :D

Hey Everyone,

I know we are new here and don't know for sure yet if we will make the rally, but we are trying to work it in without back tracking on our trip.

It is always fun to have an event that we plan for and brings a little fun competition to the rally. How would a no-holds-barred cookoff be recieved? It also serves as a potluck too. It can be open to everyone no matter how you cook, crockpot, pit, oven, smoker whatever. Those that don't cook will judge (not a bad gig). I am sure we have some great cookers out there that would like to show off their culinary skills. Lester and Billy already seemed to be touted by others as the group cooks so I figure they'd be up for the challenge.

I need to know ASAP if we want to make this part of the rally. Here in TX you need to get up early and be quick to get the good fresh roadkill :drive1: . With the economy being what it is competition is getting really tough out there.

Judging would be done in 3 categories:

Main dish (entrees)
Side Dishes
Deserts

I will try to start a Poll in the Poll Forum. If enough want to get envolved then we can get a list of who and what catagory, catagories they want to enter.

Well, I talked a couple of neighbors into joining us for the rally. They weren't sure of their site numbers so this is subject to change:
Judy and Gene in site 33
Trish, Stewart and Emily in 152 or 153

These are nice people, let then get to know everyone before someone offers them the "Koolaid" :roflao:

Well if they are scared of the koolaid then by all means don't introduce them to Jerry. Posted Image Sorry Jerry, I could not resist that.

Sorry to hear that, Jerry. I was looking forward to meeting a lot of the Southeastern Camper's. Even the pranksters! Maybe we'll run into you at another rally.
