Since we will be unable to attend the summer rally and still want to see some of u we are starting to look at places after the rally. We are debating between myrtle beach anc Anastasia. I am leaning towards Anastasia for our first week then myrtle beach for our second. I know we have to book soon. We are pretty flexible and one of summer highlights is seeing all of u. So if there is any interest please post. I plan to start booking for next year thurs or friday. Please note that this is in no way meant to take away from the summer rally, we are just unable to make it this year due to Dawn teaching that week.

Good idea Mike. I think Tony was interested (but not sure how much he checks the forumn). Wish we had so much more time off.

Thanks for the reply. We really wish we could be joining everyone but with Chicago public schools its good and bad; she does not start until after labor day, but teaches through the third week of may.

We need to make a decision soon between myrtle beach and St Augustine or if anyone else has any other suggestions. Tony if u have a preference let me know and i will look into it.

I'm sure there are soo many good sites to choose from at Anastasia but we like #131. It was a little tricky getting into but it was right across from the bathhouse, next to the playground, and no one on the other side of us - that is, if you like the remote sorta thing. I thought Leon and Lester's sites were nice but I know Leon was concerned about the popup next door occasionally when we were up late. Heck, they're all nice - that is - when you're on vacation. (We were in Site #81 in April and it only called for a 20' unit and we were fine).

Ok, the date for the after summer rally get together will be 6/18/2011. This means booking opens this Sunday. I have spoke to a couple of people and it looks like three familys are confimed so far. I checked reserve america and Anastasia state park is wide open, but it fills quick. So if u are interested please reserve ur site this sunday. We really wish we could head to Charleston, but we hope to see some of u at St. Augustine. Btw for those that were unable to make it, it is a great campground with a great beach.

I have already reserved my spot at Anastasia for that week because I knew that was where everyone was going to choose. See some of you there!

Sheila and I wanted to make the 2011 summer rally but we could not put the dates in place no matter how hard we tried. With that being said we will make a return vist to Anastasia with some of you guys & gals. Booked site 136
