Hello again. We made it to Miami in time for the Super Bowl, went out sightseeing, saw the Miami skyline, drove bumper to bumper in South Beach, saw the lighthouse at Bill Baggs State Park. Our campground was pretty nice, used to be a KOA, but is now Miami Everglades RV Park. It's SW of Miami and in the middle of thousands of acres of nurseries that grow tropical trees of all sorts, orchids, plants, you name it.
Campground had a sandlot volleyball court, firepit, spacious sites, nice clubhouse, shuffleboard courts, basketball court and of course a very nice pool and hot tub. Also had a huge tiki hut...big enough for a potluck...can you say rally ?
On our travel days, the furry kids ride in the truck...our youngest will only ride in one position...
From Miami, we headed to Orlando/Kissimmee. On day one, we went to Univeral Studios and really had a good time. It rained that morning on our way there, but let up to light rain and then cloudy the rest of the day. The music shows we saw were really good, with good talent and showmanship.
Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue
And the Blues Brothers, well they were good too
Day two found us in Universal's Islands of Adventure. In the Lost Continent we saw a guy who obviously had ridden the coasters way too many times...
Seems you can only post so many pics per post, so I will post again with the rest.
