When the boss talks you better listen, so my boss has talked and I listened. She told me to stop playing games with everybody and come clean. Posted Image So I am coming clean. I changed my signature about two weeks ago and no one even noticed. I was trying to pull a Jerry on all of you. Posted Image We went and pulled the trigger on a new camper about two weeks ago. Posted Image I have been at Lake Eufaula for the past few days on the shake down trip. As you can see in my signature we purchased a 2011 Keystone Alpine 3500RE. We love it. The dealership offered me way more for our Outback than I expected (I think I made a little money on it) and took so much off the MSRP I could not refuse the deal. I think we got a great deal and the dealership made a little money so it was a win, win for both of us. I will have some pictures soon. My air card is so slow here at the lake, I am going to have to wait until I get back home to post pictures. I will take one or two using my phone and send to Lamar and see if he can post those.

P.S. That picture in my gallery is not our camper. I got a couple of phone calls quizzing me about it. Posted Image That camper belongs to Boatman (Clayton Power). If you look at his signature you will see the same picture. He sent me that picture to put in his signature because he was having trouble getting it uploaded.

Geez, Leon. That thing looks like a condo on wheels. You guys are going to have a blast with that. Unfortunately, I am in the process of investing in my contractors new boat and his kid's College educations (Harvard, I think), so there is no money for important purchases like a camper. I am cleverly funneling my cash to our contractor through a process called "Building Out the Basement" but it is just a way to transfer our wealth to him.

Seriously, that thing looks great. I can hardly wait to come over and hang out in the kitchen. Do you plan on building out the basement as well?

This is why I wanted to know how big your freezer is. I went to the keystone sight and looked at pictures and could not believe the size if the refrigeator. I think it is the same size as the one in our house. It is truly a beautiful home away from home and I'm sure you will enjoy every trip you make.

Congrats Leon & Margaret,
That is a real nice fiver you got there. I saw those and the Avalanches at the Ocala RV show & really liked them. Now you're ready to go full time when you decide to. Can't wait to see it in person.

Very nice, there bud! Looks like someone's getting ready for full time living! I've never seen the Alpines before. Nice choice and I can't wait for the full tour in Charleston.
