We left home on Friday, 2/25/11 and went to Crystal River. It was a really windy day. It was something like 25 MPH gusting to 35. It was a bit of a white knuckle drive. I only averaged about 8.4 MPG going down and nearly 10 coming home! We went down there to kayak with the Manatees and there were none to be found! Oh well, we still had a great time. We stayed at the Rock Crusher Canyon RV Park. It was real nice. Full hook up, WiFi and cable TV. Very wooded and secluded. It as a nice place with friendly staff and I'd recommend it. We came home on Sunday and back to work on Monday. Whew!

Glad to hear you had a great time. We have camped at Rock Crusher before, really liked it. But Joe, is this the same Crystal River that they had to evacuate due to the fire down there? There was a campground they had to evacuate also but it was not Rock Crusher. I think the name was Crystal River RV Park. Is this right or have I got the wrong location in FL.

Yup. Same Crystal River, Leon.
Clicky thang
I didn't realize they were evacuating folks from a campground. I think that was about 20 minutes from where we were. However, it's only been 5 days, but I'm ready to go camping again!
