How often do you reseal your roof. What do you use and what is the desired result. DH isn't too keen on any maintenance that requires excessive elbow grease so he doesn't want to over do it, but we are beginning our 3rd year of camping with this trailer and we have never done anything more than clean the roof once or twice a year.

The most common advice I have received is to routinely start your season by cleaning your roof. I actually use a commercial roof cleaner but whatever you use, count on scrubbing . It will never be perfectly white but you can knock the surface grime off. I go around and inspect the edges around the perimeter as well as the devices that come through the membrane. I look for any loose sealant and carefully trim it away. The I seal everything in site with Rubber Roof Sealent from the RV Parts Store. Use lots
