Sorry to tell you all that we had to cancel. The site we had was 9 and should be avaliable on reservations (Sorry should have asked before I cancelled if anyone need it.)

I have to hit the Lotto work keeps getting in our way of camping.

I can't wait!!! If you go to NAS Pensacola for the air show, you'll need to get an early start as traffic is heavy getting onto the base, unless you have a military ID, also parking is difficult, quite a bit of walking too. Not to sound negative, it is well worth the effort to see the show. However, as Bob pointed out, you can see most of it from the campground, or from the beach on the bay side of the island. I'm sooooo looking forward to seeing all of our camping family again. Its time to start making all my lists of things for Leon to do:-)

We will certainly miss the NeedtoMellowOut clan, as well as OutbackGeorgia , please promise to make the fall rally!

The Robinsons are going to have to cancel as well. KD's Dad had an operation last week to remove a tumor from his brain and he faces a long rehab. This is the second time for the same type in the same place. My MIL suffers from Dementia so we are hosting both for the foreseeable future. We have a plan for the 4th but that appears to be the only thing we can plan with any hope of actually doing. I will release our site on Monday if nobody asks for it.

Nick,
Sorry y'all are not going to be able to go, but we all understand. Take care of your family for now, and let us know if you need anything.

Gosh, hate to hear that people are cancelling. Gonna miss seeing you and will have you all in our thoughts and prayers. Sure hope to see you at Stone Mtn in the fall. What sight did you have, Nick? didn't see your name on the list. We've got sight 19, but might move if yours is better (probably would have taken yours Dulce:) We'll bring a meat & side to the potluck too.....and a gift for the white elephant. Can't wait! We haven't been camping in so long. See ya'll in 20 days!!! :boogie:

Sorry about that Clayton, I am the one who took Nick's name off the list. He was in site #14 right next to me. I will send Nick a text and tell him you might be interested in his site.

ummm....."sorry about that Clayton"? Usually, when someone signs the post, it means that they are the one who posted it..... I'm not Clayton  hehe
Nevertheless, we are interested in sight 14 if available. How do ya swap? Can I just call?

Opps, didn't notice the signature. I think Nick can just call them and tell them he is not coming and that yall want the site instead of site 19. They are easy to work with.

OutbackaRoos have had to cancel also :(

While I'm sad to see a few people cancel and you will be missed, I'm still crazy excited to see the rest of ya. ;)

We are looking into going out to eat as a group again. Does anyone have any strong opinions on where? Here are a couple that I've heard are good:

Cock of the Walk http://www.cockofthewalk.biz/
Peg leg Petes http://www.peglegpetes.com/

Both of those are good. If I was voting on those two, I would vote Cock of the Walk. But on the other hand, Peg Leg Pete's is just outside of the park where we are camping. Hard decision.

Well, Cindy and I are not going to be there either. It was kind of a toss up anyway if we could do it with her classes. Also, we could not get there till Wednesday evening, and that does not work out with the Blue Angels practices, which is one main reason I wanted to go there. We also had to choose between going there and going to the beach cabin on July 4th. Like the Kinkers, we WILL be at Stone Mountain in October! See you guys then!!!

Glenn and Cindy
