Hope everyone got what they wanted for Christmas. I got that new Alpine 5th wheel that I was dreaming about. No wait! I'm still dreaming! You let me down, Santa!
Maybe next year! LOL!
Actually, my Christmas present was that beautiful 2011 F350 Dually that I got last month. She pulls like a dream!
Hope everyone has a very Happy New Year full of camping and other wonderful things!

joe, i got most of what i wanted all year long. we tend to just buy when we need it.
but i did get lots of stuff for christmas. lots of good stuff to cook with and a new sound system. ill get a new bike when i find one i want. we have a very merry christmas.

We have an agreement that hardware (cars, kitchen appliances, etc.) are NOT Christmas presents.
This works well,even though the Challenger 8,000 lb 2 post lift now in the garage was not a Christmas present, it seems like it! I am getting far too old to dive under cars, then back up for tools too many times.
Unfortunately. the Outback will not even fit into the garage! The five cars do.
Christmas has brought Brian back from his first semester at Western Carolina University and we have had his company plus his camping friends over. College students are a little different than high school, but we welcome the company, as it has been pretty guiet around here.
For those who know us, we have bought property in Maggie Valley and we brought the Outback home in November and will return to Maggie after the treck to Sebring in March for the 12 hour race. (5 days of dry camping)
We have not been camping much except in Maggie, but with gas under $3.00 in N GA, (thought I would never be thrilled with that number), we might venture out more in the spring after Brian returns to school.
Our presents are that we are all in good health, have a great home, and Outback, and after a year with three deaths of people close to us, we are looking forward to a new year. To all our friends on this site, Merry Christmas (late) and Happy New Year!

Kath and I did our shopping for "us" a week early. We bought ourselves a new iPad and a iMac. Impulse buy. For Christmas morning Kath got me a new winter vest and I got her a new star filter for her camera. We spent Christmas eve and day with our families.

Christmas eve with the wifes biological mom and Christmas day (before going to work midnights form 6p-6a) with her parents. Needless to say after 2 days of appetizers and christmas dinners, I went to work with no food and easy went the 12 hours without any hunger pains.

I/we got our new camper for christmas early and spen the actual Christmas present time and money on the boys. I did get mommy a Hand Colored Engraving of a Border Collie from 1840, yup it is 170 years old. Its actually pretty cool to hold and think of how long it has been around. Its like a 4x6 print we will get framed.

Other than that we are blessed to all be happy and healthy, dont feel the need to ask for more than that. Hope everone else enjoyed a great Christmas and the best wishes for a New Year.

Well, we don't really have restrictions on the present. So when I asked for that new front load matching washer & dryer, with all the bells and whistles, that cost nearly $2500.00, you better believe it's a Christmas present. And I love it! :-) kinda reminds me of a space ship when I turn them on. Such pretty blue lights.....and sooooo quite.
