All four Robinsons will be there, without bells. I would PAY to see you arrive, covered with bells. Not much but money is money.

I will meet at the show, then Linda will join us at Merry Macs for dinner.
Anyone from Alpharetta driving down? I would ride down and return with Linda to save driving two cars, but will go in any case.

So,
Today I received this, do you think it is legit?
It is the email with which I used for the entry form. Anyone else "win"?
Also,
Several of us won 2 free nights of camping, visited the campground today, wide open, just like the photos. They are selling lots and cabins. Seemingly successful. Nice, clean, clubhouse, etc. but spaces are very close together, no trees.

Hope it's real, I am always wary when it comes from an iPhone on Sunday, but seems legit.
Will post Monday after I verify.
Linda and I had a great time, hope everyone made it home safely. We are at WCU with Brian tonight celebrating his Birthday (5 Feb), heading back home in a few minutes.

I'm pretty certain it is legit. Lisa was the lady that explained they would announce via phone call until I pointed out that they weren't asking for a phone number on the form.

Linda and I picked up the Big Green Egg today!
Didn't buy anything, Georgia State Parks had a drawing at the RV show for one Small and two Mini Green Eggs.

I was the winner, and chose the "Small" one vs the "Mini" size. Appearantly I was the overall winner, notified by email on Sunay by Lisa.
It was a complete"starter kit" with stand and accessories worth over $550 as far as I can tell. I plan to strap it down under the front bunk for the trip to Sebring, weighs over 60lbs.
Check out the web site www.biggreenegg.com, it's a ceramic cooker/smoker uses lump charcoal with the ability to regulate temp accurately. Going to try it out this weekend, never used one before, but I have been told they are great. A little heavy, even the mini weighs over 30lbs.
Any recepie suggestions?
Well worth the trip to the show.
Alpharetta Dave (NC Dave doesn't know what he missed)

Wow! That is a great smoker and you will have a ball. I cook on a similarly designed "Komado" Cooker and the only advice I have is to remember that smokers work "low and slow" and the only effective way I have found to regulate the temperature is to limit how much charcoal you use, use the bottom vent to regulate the temperature (it only requires the smallest opening to keep the fire going and the temp low, use the top vent to let out smoke so it doesn't oversmoke the meat (tastes bitter) and experiment. The internet has lots of recipes for any cut of meat. I am happy to share any of the recipes I have but I can assure you that there are lots of people on this board that know more than I do.

Nick,
Have used it twice so far, chicken both times. Stays moist, I will try smoking next, add some wood chips for flavor. Easy to start, uses very little charcoal.
Ready to experiment, agree, will take it slow. Still cannot believe I won it! Many thanks to the folks at GA State Parks. It is like I have camped there for free all these years!
